Bruce Johnson has been appearing as Charlie The Juggling Clown since 1974. His experience includes six seasons with American circuses, eleven years at amusement parks, and representing the United States five times in stage shows at European clown conferences. In addition to his reputation as an entertainer, Bruce is known as a clown historian. He has had over 500 magazine articles published. A popular instructor, Bruce has taught at major clown conferences in the United States, Canada, and Europe, as well as being on staff for the University of Wisconsin Clown CampÓ. His honors include Laugh-Makers Magazine Contributor of the Year, World Clown Association Clown of the Year, and U-W Clown CampÓ Red Nose Philosopher, and the 2002 Clown Impact Award. He is currently a Clowns Of America International Artist In Residence and the Northwest Regional Director for the World Clowns Association.
